Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using LogDog.ai. By accessing or using the platform, purchasing credits, or submitting documents for processing, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LogDog.ai platform ("Platform"), operated by LogDog.ai ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Service Description

LogDog.ai provides an AI-assisted document processing service that extracts tabular data from geological drill log documents, including PDFs and images. The Platform uses a combination of optical character recognition (OCR) and third-party AI vision models to analyze uploaded documents and produce structured output.

The service is designed for professionals in the mining, oil and gas, and geological industries who wish to digitize legacy drill log records. It is not intended as a substitute for professional geological interpretation or engineering judgment.

3. Service Provided "As-Is"

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • Extracted data will be accurate, complete, or error-free
  • The Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time
  • Results will meet your specific requirements or be suitable for any particular professional purpose
  • Any errors or defects will be corrected

AI-based extraction is imperfect by nature. All output must be independently reviewed and verified by a qualified professional before use in any business, investment, regulatory, or operational context.

4. User Acknowledgment of Platform Performance

Prior to purchasing credits, users have the opportunity to evaluate the Platform through free demo credits and review example output. By purchasing credits, you acknowledge that:

  • You have had a reasonable opportunity to test the Platform with representative documents
  • You have reviewed example output and understand the nature and limitations of AI-assisted extraction
  • You are purchasing based on your own evaluation of the Platform's suitability for your use case

5. Credits and Purchases

All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances.

  • Credits are consumed upon document processing, regardless of the quality or usefulness of the output
  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or other compensation
  • Credits are non-transferable and non-resellable — they are tied to the access code issued to you
  • Credits may not be shared with or assigned to third parties without our express written consent
  • Unused credits do not expire, but are subject to our right to modify or discontinue the Platform
  • We reserve the right to modify credit pricing at any time for future purchases
  • Access codes are issued for use by a single user or organization and the holder of an access code is responsible for all use under that code

6. Third-Party AI Processing

The Platform transmits your uploaded documents to third-party AI providers for analysis. By using the Platform, you explicitly acknowledge and consent to this transmission. Current providers may include OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google (Gemini). The specific provider used depends on your selected processing mode and settings.

Each provider's terms and privacy policies govern how they handle data transmitted to their services:

  • OpenAI API Data Usage Policy
  • Anthropic Privacy Policy
  • Google Privacy Policy

We are not responsible for the data handling practices of these third-party providers. You should review their policies before submitting sensitive or confidential documents.

7. Proprietary and Confidential Data

You are solely responsible for determining whether documents you upload are appropriate for processing through the Platform and its third-party AI providers. We strongly advise against uploading documents that are:

  • Subject to confidentiality agreements or trade secret protections
  • Material non-public information (MNPI) under applicable securities laws
  • Subject to export controls or government classification
  • Covered by data protection obligations that prohibit third-party processing

We accept no liability for any consequences arising from a user's decision to upload proprietary, confidential, or legally restricted documents.

8. User Responsibilities

You represent and warrant that:

  • You have the legal right to upload, process, and share the documents you submit
  • Your use of the Platform complies with all applicable laws and regulations
  • You will not upload content that is illegal, fraudulent, or violates any third party's rights
  • You will not attempt to circumvent usage limits, access controls, or credit systems
  • You will not use the Platform for automated bulk processing in violation of these Terms
  • You will not reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Platform or its output methodology

9. Professional Disclaimer

LogDog.ai extracts and structures data from documents. It does not interpret geological data, validate resource estimates, or provide professional advice of any kind. Output from the Platform:

  • Is not a substitute for qualified geological, engineering, or professional assessment
  • Should not be used as the sole basis for resource estimates, investment decisions, or regulatory submissions
  • May contain extraction errors, misalignments, or omissions inherent to AI-based processing

We strongly recommend that all extracted data be reviewed by a qualified professional before use.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Decisions made based on extracted data
  • Inaccurate, incomplete, or missing extracted data
  • Unauthorized access to or disclosure of uploaded documents
  • Service interruptions or data loss

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the thirty (30) days immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LogDog.ai, its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, design, methodology, and prompts, is the intellectual property of LogDog.ai. You may not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, or resell any part of the Platform.

You retain full ownership of your source documents. You also retain ownership of the structured data extracted from your documents. We claim no rights over the content of documents you upload or the extracted output.

13. Service Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform at any time with or without notice
  • Change features, processing modes, or supported providers
  • Modify these Terms at any time — continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms
  • Terminate access for violations of these Terms

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
